Fabric Reinforcement
How we build gear that's designed to take a beating.
ABOUT FABRIC REINFORCEMENT
One of the first things we do with a new pack or apparel design is figure out how to destroy it. Every weak spot we find, every stress point we uncover gets the full Badlands treatment. Hypalon patches. Keprotec® cuffs. Triple stitching. Aramid bartacking. These are the reasons Badlands—and no one else—gets to call ourselves unconditional.
Main Tech Features
Hypalon
Hypalon is one of the strongest, most flexible materials out there—which is why we had to have it for our packs. These patches support the straps on your pack as they shift while you're climbing up a hill or when you drop it on a hunt (not that you'd ever do that).
Keprotec®
Keprotec® is a lightweight fabric so tough, it's often worn during motorcycle races. Its abrasion- and tear-resistance makes it perfect for the cuffs of Badlands hunting jackets or the knees of our hunting pants.
ARAMID FIBER BARTACKING
Aramid fiber is used for everything from body armor to flame-proof flight suits. It's so strong and dense, we can't even dye it from its natural yellow color. What's more, we didn't settle for one strand—all that bartacking you find on our packs are triple-stitched.

TEMPERATURE REGULATION
It's not just about comfort levels—it's about staying on the hunt until you claim success.
FABRIC
The materials on the market weren't good enough—so we designed our own. Meet DuraSpun Merino, KXO-32™ and KXO-50™.
