Very Protective, but you may see some snags.

"Didn't feel a single bit of brush. These pants held up great. At 6 foot 190 I bought the Mediums and I love them for Pheasant hunting in PA where you are constantly in thorns and thick brush. Only downside is that the pants do take a bit of damage visually with some snags."

Not effective brush pants

"These make a good work or camping pant. They would work well for hunting if there are no thorns or briars at all. Calling them brush pants is a real stretch. One time through nasty stuff and these will be torn to shreds."

Just when I thought they couldn't do better.

"I have every pair of pants badlands make and they're all great and rugged. I purchased these for small game hunting but as soon as I put them on I realized these are everyday work pants! Single layer at the top, double layered in the thigh and triple layers from the knee down, these are the toughest pants they make! Super comfortable and true to size they're built perfectly. Wore them in the pouring rain for over an hour while replacing a storm door and they never soaked through. Right after went in the woods and built a fence along a field with wild blackberries everywhere, they truly are great for everything!"

Would have loved it.

"Pant returned. These pant felt amazing. Good pockets, nice texture, good amount of stretch, front side layered for protection. Waist fit true to size. Med was way too long (32 inseam is already too long for me but it felt longer), plus it was very baggy around the legs. I'm 5'7 and 160lbs. I would have loved these pant if they fit. I wished hunting apparel company made clothing for us shorter people."

Comfortable, but not durable at all

"I loved these pants at first. They fit great and are very comfortable. However they aren't as durable as I would expect for a brush pant. The reinforced parts started pulling almost immediately. I didn't mind that too much since they were still offering protection. But then the stitching started to pull out. I can't wear them if they won't stay together. I've only had these about 2 years and don't hunt as much as I'd like to. These have probably only been worn in the field less than 20 days. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is because of how comfortable they are. As a brush pant, functionally, they are not good."
