Nice pack.

"This is my fourth or fifth Badlands pack. Each one has exceeded my expectations. Something many do not consider is service. Two years ago I was on a once in a lifetime elk hunt and on the second day my day pack failed. A phone call to Badlands had them deliver an upgraded pack to a remote Cabin the very next day. This saved my hunt and it’s great to do business with others that hunt and understand how important that time was for my son, my son-in-law, and me."
"I bought this to use as a day pack and to carry my saddle hunting gear. The three horizontal straps on the back of the pack work great for holding climbing stick. Pack is comfortable and light. Would purchase again."
"Excellent quality pack, really like the design. My only complaint is that it’s short for me, I’m 6’2” so not that tall and waist strap rides pretty high and there isn’t a size option to choose from or much adjustability."
"Love this pack, the frame letting air get to my back keeps me cool all day long."
"This thing is awesome. I have one for each of my guys at work who put them through the wringer. I finally bought one for my personal use and look forward to making it my go to hunting pack."
"Great back pack."
"Badlands is a great company and I support their products but I do have a gripe on this bag. I’m a full time moose/bear/ deer guide in New England and the Dash pack was my goto for 5 years. It finally disintegrated and badlands honored the warranty and sent me the Diablo in lieu of the dash since they discontinued it. It’s “ok”. . and by ok I mean it does the job and is very well made and seems to fit “ok” on me (I’m 6’3 220 lbs) . My main gripe is that it’s too big for scouting or to be a guide pack. I don’t need something that’s 2 feet long and 15” wide on my back for 6-8 miles a day. In the same breath it has great support so you can carry alot of weight if need be but that’s why I liked the Dash. Small footprint on my back but could carry and distribute 20lbs very easily . This thing can carry 50 lbs if need be but I don’t need that. I just wish Badlands would come out with a pack like latitude ranger 11. . small but functional with a frame sheet or internal stays so it supports weight over long days. I don’t wear the ranger 11 bc it looks like it’s very uncomfortable with those silly 6 inch wide straps but the point is they made a pack that fits that need. I hope Badlands comes back with a Dash type pack that is in that 16”x10”x6” dimensions that has some frame to it that can be used for scouting or all day hunts."
"Been guiding elk hunters in the older version of this pack for the last ten seasons. I put a boned out elk quarter in it not long after purchasing. I came to a pitch I didn’t feel comfortable navigating with the load, so I put it on the ground and rolled it. It was about two hundred yards, as steep as it could be and not be a cliff. The pack was bouncing 10-15’ off the ground, flipping violently by the bottom. The frame flew out of the pack and landed a few yards away. I walked down, put the frame back in, and carried the pack for the next 8 years no problem."
"Awesome pack for hunting"
