At 3,300 cubic inches, the Vario 33 is the do-it-all pack in the Vario System. Constructed from our revolutionary lightweight, waterproof KXO-50™ fabric, it can take a beating. The widemouth, zippered opening makes stowing and retrieving gear easy, while side-access zippers make it a snap to get to the middle of the main pocket. Quickly attach the Ultralight Batwing using the T-Hook system to secure rifles, bows, or give your gear more side compression.

"This Vario 33 is a great all-around size pack. I use it for day hunts and I have used it on several multi day trips as well. There is one thing I wish all of their packs had and that is a designated spotting scope pouch. I would recommend this pack for a more serious hunter as it is built to handle much more than the casual morning/Evening hunt and back to the truck."

Does it fit on any frame? Ox carbon?
Shane, the only frame that will fit the Vario packs is the Vario frame!
So if I order a medium frame with this 3300 (5'10" 155lbs), it will come already sized medium for me? But then in the vario modular video it says there are then more adjustments with the shoulder straps and waist belt within the medium frame option? Was I listening correctly? Thanks
Anthony, if you order the Vario 33 Kit in size medium, it will come in the medium settings! You can then adjust to your needs!
Can the pack and shoulder straps be removed from the frame, and then attaching the straps to the pack by itself to eliminate the frame weight? For example, if you know the frame/meat shelf won't be needed on a given day - say on a glassing/spotting-only day hike?
Jeff, unfortunately the function you described is not available with the Vario. However, the Vario Day Pack has built in shoulder straps so you can take it for a day hunt without the frame, but is the only Vario pack that has that feature.
Love this pack. I bought the meat shelf separately. When will the UL batwing be available separately? The deluxe are a little big if you don't have a bag on with the meat shelf...
