Product FAQs

Depends on your binos' dimensions (height/width/depth, including any covers/rainguards). Measure for snug but secure fit without hindering closure. Small for compact/mid-size; Medium for standard hunting binos; Large for oversized/boxy/full-size models.
Magnetic system allows silent one-handed open/close with watertight/dustproof protection. Stay-open magnet holds the lid folded down for quick, repeated access.
Yes—upgraded AirTrack breathable mesh straps improve airflow (less sweat/hot spots), adjust easily, and distribute weight well. Reviewers praise comfort on long hikes/glassing sessions, even loaded.
Yes—side-wing attachment points, bottom loops, and MOLLE-style compatibility work with Badlands SWAP modular system (add pouches/holsters easily). Rear pocket fits many rangefinders. Front/side pockets are stretchy/useful for small items.
Bino X2 is more modular/roomy with similar magnetic closure but slightly less emphasis on ultimate sealing vs. Mag 2 (which has enhanced weatherproofing/stay-open). Vs. EZ: X2 uses magnets for faster/secure access (EZ has tension bungee for fully non-magnetic/quiet lid). X2 often favored for versatility and upgrades over predecessor.
Badlands unconditional lifetime warranty (repair/replace any damage, you pay shipping to them). Clean with mild soap/water; air dry. Submit claims online with photos.

BINO X2 Hits the Mark

"Purchased this item for a Red Stag hunt in Scotland to help manage and protect my binoculars and range finders. From the long treks through the highlands and mountains, the X2 was excellent in keeping my equipment dry and clean. The quick-release carabiner rings was a nice touch and was needed when sharing equipment while spotting and ranging stags and hinds by fellow stalkers. The magnetic lid locks have worked pretty good, didn't really have any issues with them, even while crawling across wet and muddy terrain. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good setup to carry, access quickly, and to protect their equipment."

Haven't had this long, but

"Haven't had this long, but so far it's great. Comfortable and quiet. Lets see how it survives the long season. I have every bit of confidence in it!"

"Excellent quality and extremely comfortable I couldn’t be happier with this chest harness. The fit is comfortable, lightweight, and adjusts easily without feeling bulky or restrictive. The materials feel durable and well-made, and everything stays secure while moving around. I have my rangefinder mounted and ready to go, and the harness keeps it protected while still allowing quick access. The magnetic closures are strong, quiet, and easy to use with one hand, which is exactly what I wanted for hunting. I also appreciate how well the harness distributes weight across my shoulders instead of putting pressure on my neck. After wearing it around the house and adjusting everything, I can already tell it will be comfortable on long hikes and in the field."

Good binos holster

"Holds my zeise conquest hdx binos perfectly. They adjusted great and feel like a sturdy material i just wish they had a pistol attachment."

— Talon C. (5/5)

The missing piece

"I debated getting a bino harness for way to long. I settled on the X2 for it's simplicity and it's top configuration. I like the idea of the magnetic system over the mention system. It fits my Vortex 10x42s well. I used zip ties to link the rings to the binos. It fits me very comfortably. I love the strap keepers on the back."

— Andy S. (5/5)

BINO X2 is great!

"Ordered this to replace the bino case that came with my vortex binoculars. Absolute upgrade!"

— Todd F. (5/5)

Beat out another major brand

"I couldn’t decide between this harness and one sold by another major hunting brand, so I ordered both to try. After they arrived, I took them to the bow range to test out. I started with the Badlands harness, switched to the other brand, and after about 5 minutes went straight back to Badlands. Far more comfortable, user-friendly, and well thought-out than the other brand (which I returned the next day)."

— Stephen D. (5/5)

Q&A

Can you attach the RF pouch/mag case accessories to the side of the Bino compartment or only on the side wings of the harness?
PAtrick, accessories can be attached to the MOLLE loops on the side of the X2 case as well as the wings!
