"Love the jacket but the fit is a little too tight around the waist. Im a 32” waist and it’s really tight"

Jacket review
"This jacket will be great for the cold when I tried it on I could already fill the heavier material. Will be used to layer for sure. Camo looks great. Lining is quite comfortable to"
"Very comfy"
Calor jacket
"Top quality as always from Badlands."
Awesome jacket. Runs small.
"Great jacket and great weight. Runs a little small in the belly area. This will be a go-to for years. Very pleased."
Great Jacket and Pants
"The Badlands CALOR Jacket and Pants have performed exceptionally well in cold-weather conditions. They provide reliable warmth without feeling bulky and have handled changing environments comfortably during extended wear. The materials feel durable and well thought out for active use, making them a solid choice for late-season conditions. One important note on fit: they run small. I typically wear an XL, but sizing up to a 2XL was necessary for a proper fit. For reference, I am 6'4", 220 lbs, with an athletic build. Once sized correctly, the fit is comfortable and allows for good mobility."
"Runs much smaller than other large sized"
Love my Calor
"Love my Calor Pants and Jacket. I did size up one, just for room to layer and it works perfectly. It does not breath when you get hot, when walking around, so be aware of this as you will cook, but is GREAT for those early morning crispy hunts with a good layering system."
Calor Jacket needs more room
"I was disappointed the jacket did not fit well as the sale price was terrific. Top section and sleeves fit well however the lower section is way too tapered and tight for a LG and allows little to no room for any layering. I’m 5’8 at 180 and workout daily so I would assume it’s not me. I don’t want an XL as it adds sleeve length"

Q&A
- Question, I'm after a good jacket to throw on in the early morning, while riding the wheeler to a scouting spot. I would like something I could easily pack down as the day gets warmer. Temps usually start in the 40's and climb well over 60's in the day during caribou season. I already have the Exo for rain gear but need another all around jacket for when it's not raining but is cold. Is this a good choice or is this a more of a midweight piece?
- Bryan, for the situation that you are describing, the Calor might be a good fit. It is a very warm jacket that isn't very packable, but is a great outer layer when riding ATV's. It also provides great water and wind resistance!
- Do any of your hooded jackets have hoods that zip into the collar or are they all permanently out/open?
- Ed, all of our pieces either feature a hood or don't feature one. We don't have any deployable options at this time.
- Does this jacket have an opening in the back for a harness tether?
- Gary, this jacket does not feature a tree stand harness port.
- Do you have any plans to make a color Approach Fx?
- Alexey, we do not have plans of making the Calor set in Approach FX.
- Does this jacket have the Treestand Tether Exit Port?
- Jeff, this jacket does not have a harness tether port.
