some key features missing from the old model

"A great rain jacket, have not got to use it in a big rain storm but have in moderate and even in heavy snow, it kept me dry and is quiet. the only reason for 3 stars is, this newer model is missing some key features (for me anyways) that my older model has. one is it does not stuff into itself, there is an inside stretch pocket that I believe is used for this purpose, however it is slightly small and it does not have a reversable pull tab to close the zipper. the other missing feature is on the back of the hood there used to be a draw cord that would sinch back the sides of the hood. this was particularly great for keeping your peripheral vision, especially guys like me with smaller heads. Now when I turn to look I see the inside of the hood. Other than that it would have gotten 5 stars from me."

"100% waterproof and quite, that's what you need when on a hunt & rain comes; that's what Badlands gives you. I think I got a size to big for everyday wear but not a problem when I have to add layers. Biggest complaint is the hood, to big/loose, i need it to be smaller or a binge in back to tighten that way."

"Overall great rain gear only one big downfall it doesn’t have a hole for tether strap which makes it a little hard to stay completely dry while hunting a hang on stand with hood up. Very warm"

Perfect for all seasons!

"I bought this for a hunt out west in AZ during monsoon season and they came in CLUTCH!! Not only perfect to break the wind but kept my super dry which in return kept me warm as the storm came through. The fabric and zippers are super quiet for stalking and you just can't beat a lifetime warranty. BUT you probably won't even need it because this material is so durable! Honestly was skeptical about rain gear for the west but I'm glad I got it!"
