Designing the Rise Pack, we knew it had to be simple to use, extremely quiet and not be a burden in a treestand. To achieve simplicity, we designed the Badlands Swiftlatch Opening System which uses quiet, yet secure, Fidlock fasteners on the main compartment. For noise reduction, we used our quietest, most durable and burr-resistant outer material to date and then lined the hunting pack with ultra-quiet suede. No zippers, no Velcro. The result of multiple years of climbing trees and hunting hard is a Badlands pack worthy of the name Rise. Because when you're 20 feet in the air, the last thing you want to be doing is fumbling with gear that's difficult to use.

"I love the concept and as always the badlands quality is unmatched. I set mine up with an extra set of the interchangeable grids for extra pouches. The thing I don’t love and also don’t hate is the main flap cover closure. The hook is nice on one hand for quieter open and close but on the other hand it’s a pain in the dark trying to find the loops and get the hook secured."

"The pack is spacious, able to accommodate field gear, snacks, and other needs. Added the basket to the lid. I picked this pack because it keeps its shape which makes it easy to dig around while on the tree stand. Holds my steps and stand well. Might move my steps on the side of the pack if I can find a strap and pouch to attach to the grid for added support. Material is soft and quiet. Would be nice to have a bow rest or some attachment in the same pattern (GT) that connects to the pack."

"The Badlands RISE has officially earned its place in my gear lineup, and I’m impressed. It’s one of those pieces of equipment that makes you wonder why someone didn’t think of it sooner. I’m on the shorter side, so finding a pack that actually fits me instead of making me look like a kid wearing his dad’s rucksack has been a challenge. The RISE fits extremely well. The sizing and adjustability let me get the load where it belongs, and once it’s dialed in, it carries comfortably without feeling like I’ve got a small tactical refrigerator strapped to my back.
