Product FAQs

Depends on your binos—Badlands recommends checking dimensions. Small fits most compact/mid-size (e.g., 8–10x42 common hunting binos); Medium for larger ones (e.g., up to 12x50 or bulkier models). Users report a snug but secure fit; if your binos are borderline, go Medium to avoid tightness.
Yes—the main lid uses an adjustable tension bungee system (elastic pull for easy one-handed access, secure closure). No magnets on the primary flap (unlike some Badlands models), which reduces noise in quiet hunting scenarios. The rear pocket (for rangefinder/etc.) does use magnets for security.
es—padded mesh straps are breathable, adjustable, and don't create hot spots (per reviews). Good weight distribution; users note it's comfortable even loaded with binos, rangefinder, wind checker, etc. Some prefer it over bulkier options for long hikes.
Yes—side-wing attachment points, bottom loops, and compatibility with Badlands' SWAP modular system allow pouches/holsters. Rear magnetic pocket fits many rangefinders.
Badlands' unconditional lifetime warranty applies (repair/replace for any issue, you pay shipping to them). Clean with mild soap/water; air dry. Submit claims online with photos.

APPROACH FX
Approach FX (Fall Crossover) is an Approach camo pattern with a darker hardwood color scheme, making it ideal for late-season hunts on browner terrains, where the leaves—and temperatures—start dropping. Since all Approach camos are designed to adapt, it'll work well in any location.
Tech
APPROACH GT
Approach GT (Ground & Timber) is our latest camo pattern, featuring a darker green color palette that makes it a particularly effective choice when the trees are still holding leaves that shade the environment. The vertical patterning is designed to mimic tree bark, to keep you hidden in your stand or leaning against a trunk.
Tech
APPROACH OG
Approach OG (Original Green) is a camo pattern with green, brown and tan hues, making it especially effective during early season hunts with rich vegetation like pine and sage. With light patches and adaptive coloration, it'll keep you hidden wherever you take it.

Great bino harness. Great customer

"Great bino harness. Great customer service also."

Bryan D. (5/5)

Quality

"Used it a half dozen times. Comfortable. Easiest bino harness to put on and take off. I have a stock vortex and leupold case, both are a pain in the rear to get that last strap when you have a cold weather gear on. It's a little noisy when flipping open, relevant for a white tail hunter, out west, I'm sure it's not an issue. I'd recommend."

Phillip H. (5/5)

Great Harness

"Great harness! I have one in mud and got this one for turkey hunting. Just added the slate call attachment and I’m all set. Please make a striker holder pouch!"

Landon H. (5/5)

Bino ez harness

"I bought this for an upcoming spring bear hunt in Montana. I have purchased multiple products from Badlands (Mrk4 pack, bino harness, clothing). The quality and function is fantastic on all of them. The warranty just seals the deal for me."

Zachary M. (5/5)

Best bino harness I've had

"I've had several bino harnesses and honestly they just never feel right and I end up not using them. So far this one has been extremely nice and comfortable. Would def buy it again!"

John B. (5/5)

Great Bino Harness

"This bingo harness is great. The only bad thing is when I had my wind detector in the side pocket while opening it the string piece on the side would make a loud noise passing by it. Other than that serves its purpose I wanted a smaller harness with things attached to the side and it worked just perfect."

Jim P. (4/5)

Husband loves it!

"I ordered this for my husband for Christmas. Huge hunter. It’s perfect size for him (6’5, 250) as the straps around the torso are expandable. Really great quality and should last him multiple seasons of hunting. Quick shipping too!"

Caitlin S. (5/5)

Well worth it!

"I love this harness! It’s very comfortable once you get it fitted correctly and easy to adjust as the temps change and you add more clothes. The Molly is very tight so there’s no movement in attachments. The only thing keeping this from a 5 star is the clips that hold your binos are metal and they make some noise when getting your binos out. If that could be figured out then this harness would be top notch!"

Lane C. (4/5)

Nice case

"Haven’t used in field yet but fits Steiner Predator 10x42s as expected."

Marino P. (5/5)

"Nice fit for my smaller binos and I love the color!"
