Horrible construction

"Poor construction. I bought these pants and upon receiving them, I noticed the stitching in the crotch area was coming undone. I called customer service and they said they can fix them but I would have to pay for shipping, why am I having to pay extra money for your screw up? I figured I’d just keep em and wear em until I can no longer use em and buy from a different company but they also don’t do a great job of protecting your legs from walking through brush, I still get stabbed by little stickers and the stickers also get stuck in between the dark brown material and the lighter tan material so then you’re constantly getting stabbed unless you cut them out of there. Loved this company but after this, I won’t consider buying from them again. The pants are comfy if you’re just walking the roads though"

Best pants

"Great pants for everything outdoors. But seems like whenever there is a sale only XXL ever available 😢 so I only have the one pair. I would love a few more but keep hoping a sale will work for me and save me some money. My favorite pants originally bought for pheasant hunting. Used for so many other things including hiking."

Birdy

"Nice pants I haven't been in the field yet but like them around the house."

Mark P. (5/5)

Comfortable and well made pants

"Seem very well made. Among the best comfort wise. Still have to see how it fares against burs and thorns etc compared to cotton canvas. The fit was super comfy."

Omer K. (4/5)

Great for everything

"I love these upland pants. They move so well and keep you comfortable. Let's just say I also wear them as my only layer underneath my snowboard pants."

Ryan P. (5/5)

Great pants for hiking, hunting,

"Great pants for hiking, hunting, casual wear, ect. They do snag a little in thorny brush but in other types of brush, they are great! They are fairly warm as well and are very comfortable down to 40 F without a base layer. If you are wanting something more durable for thorns, check out the Badlands Brush pants."

Very impressed in Michigan

"Picked up at local hunting store here in Michigan. Had a heavier duty pair of brush pants that I absolutely hated because they were heavy and didn't breath, leaving me a miserable sweaty mess any time of the year. Tried these on and knew right away I had to have them. Wore them 3 times this season so far - once at a pheasant ranch and twice out on public land for grouse and woodcock. They have so far held up to everything from sorghum, switchgrass, corn, jack pine, briars, autumn olive, aspen, and more. Best part is they breath but also are fairly wind and water resistant. Stretch makes them ultra comfortable. Very, very impressed with these pants so far."

Derek (5/5)

perfect pants

"wore these pants all pheasant hunting season. exactly what you want and need if looking for quality pants. couldn't believe how light and durable they are"

Dom S. (5/5)

Great pants weight not too

"Great pants weight not too thin not too thick. They have a nice stretch to them. They worked out great for me during turkey season."

Bradley J. (5/5)

VERY comfortable - recommend thermal

"VERY comfortable - recommend thermal layer beneath for temps below 32 degrees."

Q&A

Will or are these available in Small (S)?
Liam, the Huron set is not offered in a small size and runs M-2XL.
Good Morning, hope all is well! I bought a pair of these pants at Silver Creek Outfitters in Idaho and really enjoyed wearing them the first couple times. They performed great in the grouse woods in the UP of Michigan for a day then the first day I wore them grouse hunting in Maine the crotch stitching started to pop - not wide open, but I got nervous about it. Wore them one more time in the woodcock woods in northeast Ohio and they still shed water but did not protect from prickers. I am not worried about the pilling because of the prickers, but the crotch almost giving out after a couple days wearing made me nervous. Not sure if there is a warranty, but wanted to comment. Extremely comfortable and think you guys have a solid product. Let me know if there is a way to trade them in or if I should just go to my seamstress for added stitching.
Woods, thank you for your review! If you are concerned about the stitching, please email us at info@badlandsgear.com and we'll get you taken care of!
How much stretch is there in the waist? And do they sit high on the wait (draw)?
P.W., these pants have a fair amount of stretch to them, and they fit like any other pair of pants would!
